What I Learned: From this 2 semester research group, I learned many things including how to conduct proper research and work amongst a group to help gather data and answer a research question. I realized the amount of effort and time that is required to ensure that the research is effective. I also learned how to properly conduct a study and also how to interpret the values and put them on paper.
Reflection to assignment: This assignment made me realize the challenges that I will face when conducting future research. There are many difficulties that come with conducting research. I realized the importance of patience and how important team productivity is.
Relevance to profession: As a dietitian, it is important to be able to understand the principles of research and how to interpret research. Our knowledge is entrusted in us by our clients so it is important that we thoroughly understand how to interpret research and be able to pass this on to clients.
